Am 30. August 2024 hat die Bürgergemeinschaft zum ersten „Striegelhock“ beim Denkmal eingeladen. Anlass war die Fertigstellung bzw. Erneuerung des Striegelaufgangs vom Hirschplatz. Es trafen sich etwa 40 Bürgerinnen und Bürger aus dem Ortsteil Dinglingen. Dr. Haiko Holland begrüßte die Teilnehmer sowie den neuen Chef des Tiefbauamtes Roland Richter.
Dr. Walter Caroli, der Verfasser der „Dinglinger Chronik“, erzählte den Anwesenden interessantes zur Geschichte des Denkmals.
Es wurde Wein vom Weingut Wöhrle und zwei Hefezöpfe, die von Gerald Kappus spendiert wurden, den Gästen angeboten.
